Jackson Hole Fly Fishing Lodge
Welcome to the Spotted Horse Ranch!
Come explore the many opportunities our ranch offers to experience a land that remains much the same as when explorer John Colter first set his eyes on it in 1807.

Jackson Hole Fly Fishing
The runoff from nearly 400 inches of snow each winter provides Jackson Hole with some of the best streams and rivers for spawning and growing trout. Snake River Fine-Spotted Cutthroat, Rainbow, and Brown Trout thrive in the cool waters. Vigorous and hungry, they offer virtually every level of flycaster a satisfying experience.
One of our concessions to progress is a new spring-fed pond with its very own Cutthroat population to help anglers build confidence and improve casting skills. From there you can work your way to fishing the Hoback and Willow Creek here on the Ranch. Or, take a guided fishing trip on the Snake or Green River. A free casting lesson is offered on Monday afternoons.
The Spotted Horse Ranch is committed to providing you with the best Jackson Hole fly fishing experience possible. As part of that offering we have built and stocked an Orvis retail fly-shop on the premises for sales and rentals. We’ve focused the shop on the essentials - rods, reels, lines, flies, wading equipment, some clothing, and the paraphernalia needed to have a successful day on the stream or pond.
