Green River fly fishing guides, float trips and fly shop in Dutch John Utah.
Green River Utah Fly Fishing Dennis Breer and the guides of Trout Creek Flies invite you to come experience world-class trout fly fishing on Utah's Green River. We feature quality walk and wade Green River fly fishing and float trip fishing trips from drift boats on the trophy tail water fishery below Flaming Gorge Dam. This is a region of rugged beauty, colorful history and one of the healthiest trout populations anywhere in the world.Shocking surveys conducted by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources show a fish population of 8,000 to 14,000 fish per mile of river. Fish growth rates are equally impressive (1" to 2" per month) due to controlled water temperatures that are maintained by a selective withdrawal structure on the dam. These factors, when combined with special quality oriented fishing regulations, have created a superb year-round trout fishery. Rainbow, Cutthroat and a resident population of Wild Brown Trout, in the 15 to 18 inch range are average. Fishing is restricted to artificial flies and lures. We support a fishing-for-fun and "catch and release" philosophy. Green River Fly Shop
TROUT CREEK FLIES
For at least twenty years I, along with most other outfitters on the Green have desired to have or own a Fly Shop to service the Green River. That dream has come to fruition with the building of our new structure. Our goal is to completely outfit the guides and fishermen in the area. Fishermen coming to the Green now have a source to gain information and knowledge of the existing hatches, water conditions and to outfit accordingly.
Included in our outstanding local fly pattern selection we carry Umpqua, H20 Flies, Montana Flies, Solitude, Orvis and Idylwilde Flies. Many of our Green River fly fishing guides and other local tiers contribute their tying skills for special patterns. Questions? Click below to Request Information
