Capt. Jonathan de la Rosa has spent his lifetime fishing the waters in and around the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Over the years he has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge that has assisted him in becoming one of the islands top captains.

Well lets just say during our wet season ( June -September) Trinidad boasts one of the best Tarpon fisheries in the world. From fifteen pounds to two hundred pounds plus, these tarpon appear in astounding numbers each summer.
Also in the summer expect large numbers of Kingfish.

November - May: Wahoo!! Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Tuna, Kingfish.

We troll rigged Balahoo along with lures for fishing the Wahoo, Sailfish, etc., and we use live bait for the tarpon. The wahoo average 40-60 lbs with many in the 80 lbs region.

ALL TARPON AND BILLFISH ARE RELEASED

Our fleet consists of four boats:

BOBBY BREEN - 32ft Bowen (fishing).
GUD TYME - 42ft Bertram (fishing & cruising).
PLAY HOOKY - 37ft Custom Trojan (cruising).

All fishing boats are fully equipped and professionally rigged.
The boats are based at the Crew's Inn Marina and Hotel, which is ideally located in the Chaguaramas peninsular and only minutes away from the fishing and cruising grounds. The new on-site hotel is convenient for overseas visitors.

There are many cruising options available. We offer full catering which includes a buffet meal and an open bar or you can just rent our facilities and provide your own catering.

"Down The Islands" as it is fondly known is off of the North-Western tip of Trinidad, only a stone's throw away from the South American coastline. Come cruise these lush islands on one of our fully stocked vessels. Our house on Gasparee Island is a perfect stop-over to enjoy a meal in comfort. The house is in a secluded bay (St. Ignatius Bay) and is very safe for swimming and snorkeling. The evening sunset cruise is a favorite because of the spectacular Caribbean sunsets and the dolphins that almost always make their playful treks through the channels. All cruises are 5 hours and music is provided throughout. The cuisine is served buffet style with the emphasis on local food. Charters of some fishing mixed with cruising are also quite popular.
