Matagorda Fishing Charter

My name is Captain Rob Baylor and my wife Christy and I have been fishing and hunting the Texas landscape for over 20 years. I started fishing and hunting when I was 5 years old. I have fished all up and down the Texas Gulf coast. I have hunted throughout the Texas landscape. My fishing adventures started in Rockport. As a boy my father and mother would take me out fishing and floundering in the vast bay complex that surrounds Rockport. As time progressed we moved on to fishing the Galveston Bay area and eventually we moved onto fishing the Gulf of Mexico from Matagorda. I have fished for just about everything that swims including Marlin. I have participated in Billfish tournaments all along the Texas coast.

Matagorda Bay Fishing

Full Day: $500.00 for 1 – 3 persons $50.00 for each additional person up to 6

Half Day: $400.00 for 1 – 3 persons $50.00 for each additional person up to 6

A deposit of $200.00 is required to secure a date.

Matagorda Bay fishing trips include the following:
-CastAway rods and Bait Casting or Spinning Reels (provided on request)
-Wading boxes and stringers (provided on request)
-Ice
-Fish cleaned and bagged
-Pictures of your catch
-Artificial lures

Pricing for 1-3 persons: 550.00
Matagorda Flounder fishing charters range from sunset to around 1AM.  Hit that nighttime water for some great gigging action. Take in the nighttime sights and see Redfish, Trout, Crabs, and much more under the high powered lights.

A deposit of 200.00 is required to secure a date.

Matagorda Bay Fishing Full Day Triple Tail Trip:

Full Day Triple Tail Charter: 600.00
These Matagorda Bay fishing trips leave at daylight and return sometime before dark.
We provide bait for this trip. Rods and reels are provided. We use heavy spinning rigs.

A deposit of 300.00 is required to secure a date.

Kayak Transportation Trips:

We can provide kayak transportation into East and West Matagorda Bay.
We can accommodate up to 4 kayaks stacked on deck.
Trips rates available on request.

A deposit of 200.00 is required to secure a date.

Matagorda Offshore Fishing

Up to 30 Miles $850.00 1 – 4 persons $100.00 each additional person up to 6

Fuel, Bait, and Ice charges are additional. Most Matagorda Offshore fishing charters burn between 70 and 100 gallons

Up to 60 Miles $1050.00 1 – 4 persons $100.00 each additional person up to 6

Fuel, Biat, and Ice charges are additional. Most trips burn between 125 and 175 gallons

A deposit of 500.00 is required to secure a date.

 Matagorda Offhore charters include the following:
-CastAway rods and Shimano conventional and spinning reels
-Fish cleaned and bagged
-Pictures of your catch

What to bring for your trip:
-Texas fishing licenses with saltwater stamp
-Food and drink (You can never have enough water)
-Sunscreen
- Correct clothing for type of trip
-Wading boots with stingray protection (better to be safe than sorry!)
-Ice chest for food, drink, and a place to put your catch for the return ride home
-Your camera for those all important pictures
-Most importantly bring your smile and have a great day in the outdoors
