He is prepared for safety on the Gulf and knows the water from Galveston to Corpus. Joel is a licensed Master by UCG and experienced in navigating and fishing the Gulf. We will be glad to take you charter fishing in Galveston , whether it is your first trip or you're an old salt.
Galveston Fishing Charter Boats
The 26' Mako cuddy Sharktooth powered by Suzuki 225 will get out to the Blue waters and she is very seaworthy. Sharktooth can also fish the jettys and nearshore water for blacktip Sharks, Tarpon, and Bull Reds. Captain Joel has the equipment to take fisherman where the fish live and the experience to catch you a fish of your lifetime. Captain Joel will show you a good day of fishing to suit your party’s targets. We also catch a wide variety of fish like: Kings, Redfish, tarpon, sailfish, Ling(cobia), and dolphin. We also have a 45' Panga boat Wasabi which has capability for trips beyond the edge to Flower Gardens and Floaters. It targets Tuna, Wahoo, and bull Dolphin. Our partner Capt. Captain Joel Taylor
Master Captain Joel Taylor is an experienced Charter Boat Captain, fisherman, diver, and environmentalist, who loves fishing Galveston Bays, Jettys, and the Blue offshore Gulf of Mexico.
Capt. Joel is not afraid to grab sharks but he is carefull.
His favorite fish is Dolphin(aka Mahi mahi, Dorado). These beautiful fish are acrobats, speedsters, and fun to catch.
Capt. Joel is fishing year around either here in Texas or venturing to Mexico, Louisiana, or whereever the fish are biting.
Galveston Bay Fishing
We have super year around fishing at the great Galveston jettys for Sharks, large bull redfish and big black drum. These bruisers are 20-50 pounds and built to tug. Depending on the season any or all of the guys will be in residence. Huge Tarpons, Jacks, and more sharks are nearby along the beach and out a few miles offshore.
Galveston Fishing Charter Rates Summer Blue water all-day trips: $900 for 4 fishers, add $50 foradditional up to 6 total. Galveston Bay and Coastal fishing trips: $575 for 4 fishers, add $50 for additional up to 6 total.
Just bring your sunscreen and pack a lunch. We’ll provide the fishing tackle and bait. The seas can be bumpy and we recommend Dramamine or other medicines for the weak of stomach.Texas license and saltwater stamp required for Texas waters.
