Because Villa Blanca is located on the crest of Raphune Hill, 700 ft. above sea level, guests enjoy spectacular vistas of the capital city of the USVI, Charlotte Amalie. Also visible is St. Thomas' turquoise harbor and cruise ship port, islands west of St. Thomas, green rolling hills and valleys, and romantic sunsets which grace the view.

Our guests are minutes from everything that this beautiful Caribbean island has to offer. Just 4 1/2 miles from the airport and only 1 1/2 miles from duty-free shopping in Charlotte Amalie, guests are close yet sit above and away for a quiet and relaxed vacation. In addition, beautiful beaches, world class boating, diving, fishing, historic and ecological tours, and scenic drives among other island attractions are just a few miles away from guests who stay at Villa Blanca.

The property was originally built as the residence of a wealthy automotive heiress who later converted her home into the St. Thomas Club. It was sold to the present owner, Blanca T. Smith, who in 1986, remodeled the buildings into an island villa. Along with her family, Blanca takes great pride in making her guests feel welcome by offering them what has developed into trademarks of Villa Blanca - Personal Service and True Island Hospitality. Additionally, for enjoyment by guests is an honor bar in the Main House, an open air patio, and a fresh water swimming pool and deck with a world class view.

The modern rooms at Villa Blanca are designed for comfort and luxury with a dash of tropical flair. St. Thomas Fishing Charter boat:
Reel Therapy is a 28 ft. ProLine boat built for fishing. A few of the boat's features includes a walk around cabin, v-birth with cushions, interior cabin bathroom, hard top with rod holders, fish boxes, saltwater washdown with hose, freshwater shower in cockpit, live bait well, bait station/cutting board, outriggers, downrigger, light to medium tackle fighting chair.

• Fishing equipment consists of Penn fishing rods and reels that are set up for light to medium tackle for honest fishing sportsmanship.
• Safety equipment includes Type 1 offshore PFD's with strobe lights, day/night signaling and noise devices, fire extinguishers, first aid kit, and VHF communications radio. Captain is CPR and first aid certified.

CAPTAIN:
USCG licensed Captain Eugene Smith is a life long resident of St. Thomas that has called this beautiful island home for 31 years. After completing his education in the United States and returning home in 1994, he joined forces with his family at Villa Blanca Hotel as manager and continues to offer in Reel Therapy Sportfishing, what has become a trademark of the Smith family operation: Personal Service and True Island Hospitality.
