St. Lucia Fishing Charters Fishing in St Lucia is a rewarding experience with Captain Mike's friendly and experienced crew. This company is the oldest and most well established fishing charter outfit on the island, started in the 1940's by 'Big Bill', and then continued and run on a truly professional basis by Captain Mike and his son's, Bruce and Andrew, who have now taken over the company. These guys have been fishing all around the Caribbean since they were knee-high to a grasshopper, so no-one can beat their knowledge of the fishing grounds around St Lucia and the windwards. They have recently broken the St. Lucian record of 705 lbs as well as that of of the windward islands, by catching a 940 lb blue marlin. If you are a professional - great - but if not, don't worry, we'll show you the ropes of this exhilarating sport, you could not be in better hands! Fish commonly caught around St Lucia are: blue marlin, sailfish, yellow fin tuna, big eye tuna, dorado, wahoo, black fin and skipjack tuna. So join the grandsons of the master, 'Big Bill' and see what you can land. Remember also that there is a strong possibility that you will sight migrating whales which is one of the most pleasurable experiences ever.  All boats are bertrams, 31, 35 and 38ft, powered with diesel engines. All have the necessary safety equipment, licenses and insurance coverage. All are rigged for fishing with penn and shimano international gear. Each boat goes out with one captain and one crew.
