Captain Mike has been a Hilton Head Island resident since 1991 and has fished these waters ever since he first moved to the island. Capt. Whether you wish to target, sailfish, marlin, Wahoo, dolphin, grouper, snapper, king mackerel, or sharks, Capt. We have four hour charters, including seasonal shark fishing charters that offer those who are interested in fishing an excellent first experience to the sport. For the more serious angler, we offer six, eight, ten, and gulf stream trips. Integrity Gulfstream Charters are for the most discriminating anglers. Fishing in the gulfstream off the Carolina Coast is truly world class and unlike any other fishing experience one can imagine. This trip takes Integrity anywhere from 60-90 miles offshore in the hunt for epic game fish.
In the late spring, May and June, there is a phenomena we call the Carolina Gold Rush. Any given charter can expect to catch 20 to as much as 60 dolphin (mahi mahi) in one trip. This does not mean that spring is the only good time to charter to the gulfstream though, because of its warm flow of water from the Gulf of Mexico, fish can be caught year round in the stream. On any given charter, one can expect to catch sailfish, blue marlin, white marlin, dolphin, Wahoo, tuna, king mackerel, amberjack, barracuda, and bonita.
Another aspect that makes fishing in the low country so special is that because of all the pristine estuaries and natural deep harbors, Port Royal Sound, off the north end of Hilton Head Island, is a major spawning location for Cobia. Hilton Head is one of three locations these awesome game fish stop during their annual migration in the spring and early summer. These fish can be caught near shore and as far out as forty miles. Integrity is known up and down the southeast coast and has clients who come up from south Florida just to catch the Cobia migration. Hilton Head Island is also known for her outstanding King Mackerel run in the summer that we can encounter on our six and eight hour charters.
All tackle, fishing gear, licenses, and ice come with the price of the charter. Capt. Mike will also fillet and bag your catch upon returning to the dock at no additional charge.
