Tazin Lake Lodge is designed to accommodate sixteen guests at a time along with service personnel during your stay. What does that mean to you? Friendly, personal service from the entire Tazin Team, incredible fishing and memories that will last a lifetime. Our experienced guides do not fish because they are here to serve you, plus they prepare one of the finest shore lunches you will find anywhere in Canada.

 The lake is 40 kms long and 10-12 kms wide
with many islands and secluded bays totaling over 250 miles of rarely
fished shoreline.
Boats and Equipment
Our Guides operate 16 ft Alumarine water crafts with swivel cushioned seats, a raised front fishing platform for casting and 25 hp 4 stroke Yamaha engines. Boats are also equipped with GPS Depth Finders. Life jackets are standard equipment in all boats.
 All Guides carry top of the line Canon digital cameras to ensure your
trophy is well documented. Tazin is a catch and release lake, with the
exception of fish caught for shore lunch. We do however require the use
of barbless hooks to ensure great fishing for generations to come.

What To Bring
 We recommend you bring a 6 - 6 1/2' medium/heavy action rod with 10-20lb line for trolling spoons and crankbaits for Pike and Lake Trout. Spinning reels are most common with some using bait casters and level winds.
Spoons like the 'Five of Diamonds' and 'Red and White' are old standby's that work great for Northerns as well as some of the Mepps spinners lineup. Crankbaits like the Storm Thunderstick and Rapala Husky Jerk have been producing big fish. Our tackle shop keeps plenty in store. Top water baits are also fun when the Pike are aggressive. Shallow Lakers respond well to spoons and crankbaits. For deeper Lakers we recommend heavier jigs and jigging spoons.
