Sara Star Fishing Charters offers all types of fishing styles: Chum & Chunk (a.k.a., bait fishing), Trolling, or Jigging. No matter the style, Captain Joe will ensure you get the best out of your experience. All poles, rigging and bait are provided for your use. Please be aware that the charter fee does not include loss of rod and reel.Guests will be able to keep their catch, up to the legal limit. Captain Joe will fillet, bag and ice your fish at your request. Newport, Rhode Island Fishing Charter Boat The beautiful Coral Rose. The Coral Rose is a 35-foot traditional Downeaster with custom set-ups for sport fishing and cruising. More spacious than its predecessor, the Sara Star, its added amenities will make your time on the water even more enjoyable. And with most of the work on this boat done by Captain Joe and his team, you'll be able to see the difference that attention to the details can make.

 Joseph R. Aiello has been fishing off the waters of Newport Rhode Island for over twenty-five years, both as a commercial fisherman and private charter captain. With a unique and professional approach, he enjoys bringing the thrill and excitement of inshore and offshore fishing to as many people as possible.
Captain Joe is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard tested captain with a One Hundred (100) Gross Ton Masters License. He is also certified by the American Red Cross for both first aid and CPR. Sara Star Fishing Charters and Captain Joe have been featured in such publications as Men's Journal and On The Water magazines, as well as the 1998 Sperry Top-Sider and 2000 Men's Journal Annual Calendars. Guests of Sara Star Fishing Charters can choose from a number of packages to best suit their needs. Accommodations are available for up to six guests for half-day excursions and up to four guests for full-day charters. For parties larger than six please contact Captain Joe to discuss special arrangements. And remember, charters are also available for non-fishing trips, including festivals, photography sessions, picnics, sailboat races, and harbor cruises. Some things to keep in mind when planning your charter:
During the morning, seas are usually calmer and therefore more suitable for
children. Rougher seas, though not always good for the weak of stomach, do provide for a better fishing experience. Think realistically about how long you will want to spend on the water. Whether a half or full day, the fishing will be great. Morning charters require you to arrive at 6:30am, afternoon charters at
12:30pm. Beverages and snacks are complimentary with all charters.

Payments can be made in the form of a check, cash, Visa, or Mastercard. A deposit of 25% is required to reserve your charter, with the balance due upon completion of the trip.
