When we decided to offer pike and walleye fishing packages, it was not by chance that we focused on East Bay in the Gouin Reservoir. It was a calculated decision. The Gouin Reservoir is renowned for being one of the best, if not the best body of water for Northern Pike and Walleye fishing. We are the exclusive outfitter at East Bay and accessible only by floatplane which ensures our customers of an excellent quality of fishing. Our ten cabins, each isolated one from the other, will promise you a peaceful stay. Because of the amount of smaller bays, you are always protected from the great winds. Our caretaker daily visit ensures that your stay will not only be safe but will also provide you with an excellent service. He communicates daily by radio with both of our floatplane bases located in Parent and St-Michel-des-Saints before doing his round. Moreover, he will advise you with the different fishing techniques and the best fishing areas as well. He always has a gasoline, beer and soda inventory in order to save a weight problem at your departure point. All our cabins are equipped with propane stove, refrigerator, freezer and lamps, oil furnace, non-drinkable running water, outside shower.  You do not need to worry about bringing the kitchen equipment since every necessary item is provided such as pots and pans, cooking utensils, coffee pot, dishes and silverware, etc.
Our Fishing Boats Our 16-foot wooden boats with flat bottom guarantee you of an optimal security. To ensure your stay is trouble-free our outboard motors ( 9.9 H.P.) are renewed yearly. For a group fishing expedition, a 24-foot pontoon is available to rent. To fish in the waters of these northern regions is a unique privilege. Crystal-clear rivers cascade in a pandemonium of gushing water that only speckled trout can withstand. The fishing turns into an inevitable fight every time a trout tackles the fisherman's offering while he moves along the banks, staying close to the rapids in his wading boots.
Fly fishers especially must be ready for an unrelenting fight. The lake trout swimming in the huge lakes north of the 55th parallel often reach an impressive weight of up to 15 kilos. Each and every line cast is an act of provocation against the species, and the largest specimens are not always the ones pursuing the most ruthless battle. In the end, lake trout weighing between 2 and 4 kilos will overcome the wisest fisherman's stamina.
Troll fishing is also practised from boats available for our clients at every fishing camp. Camp leaders are familiar with the best refuges. Little by little throughout your stay, they will take you there, taking the time to pass on a few safety and conservation rules, and ? of course ? a few personal tips.

Our 16' X 20' plywood camps can accommodate 6 hunters and are equipped with an oil furnace cooking utensils, dishes and silverware, bunk beds and mattresses, a propane stove and lamps. A campman with a two way radio is on the premises at all time. At each site you will find a well-ventilated meat house, a generator and a freezer. Our 16' or 18' wooden boats are equipped with 9.9 H.P motors. You have to bring your life jacket.
