Moondog charters operates a Rincon fishing charter excursion boat for sport fishing, diving, and whale watching. We fish for billfish such as marlin, sailfish, and swordfish as well as dorado, tuna, wahoo, and shark in the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean.

In 1976, Captain Anderson (AKA "Moondog") began working for The Florida Institute of Technology. He worked on all five of their boats which, at the time were involved with teaching marine biology, hard hat diving, and underwater photography. He continued to work for The Florida Institute of Technology for another year and a half. He then started working on ocean going tug boats, which he continued to do for the next thirteen years, where he earned his US Coast Guard Captain's license. He currently holds a thousand-ton freight and towing license. For the last thirteen tears, he has been running a charter boat for fishing, diving, and whale watching out of Rincon P.R. He has been fishing in and out of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, since 1990.

 "Island Time" is a 1994 Albemarle Express Sport Fisherman. She is 32 feet 2 inches in length, with an 11 foot beam. She cruises at 25 knots and runs at 30 knots. She is newly equipped with twin 370 horsepower Yanmar diesel engines, installed in April, 2004. She has a clean electric head, AC, and a microwave and refrigerator in the galley. She is fully rigged for fishing with Lee out riggers, two down riggers, a Release fighting chair and Penn International reels. She has a full set of electronics: Northstar GPS, Garmin GPS. Furuno GPS, Furuno radar, Furuno fathometer, Icom VHF, Standard VHF, Robertson auto pilot and an Alpine stereo system. She has a 5 kw. Westerbeke diesel generator.
