We are still having the late run of Blue Marlins that I predicted a couple of months ago. Raising and getting hit by 4 or 5 fish a day is common and the hook-up rate has improved tremendously by cutting some of the skirts on the lures shorter.
The tunas are arriving and some dorados(mahi) have been caught, which somehow is surprising.
The sails and wahoos with some whites should be arriving later in October with the 100# tunas.
I am getting close to my 310 personally caught blue marlin(309); I do not get the chance to fish individually any more, but when a chance came up for a day's fishing with my crew aboard Najomi 11, I took it and in 1/2 day raised 3 and tagged and released my 309.
I hope I do not have to wait another year for the 310.
