After several years Gary joined us again on the river, which was nice to see a familiar face. Gary brought his lady friend from Venezuela (which is a new country for us- making it 16 different countries we've had guests from).

We floated from Fish Creek Park down to MacKinnon Flats today and it was a hot one. Gary had the first fish in the boat by Cranston so it was a good start to the day. The fishing was not fast and furious today by any means but Gary did hook fish consistently on nymphs and the hopper dropper rig as well. Dark chenille worms were the fly of the day without question though. Its always nice to see familiar faces on the boat with you and special when they get to bring and share the experience with someone new as well.
