Overall the fishing is good. Stripers, largemouth, smallmouth and catfish are all biting. Stripers are boiling at first light. Top water lures are working well early, mostly school size stripers and some really nice smallmouth up to 3 pounds are taken. Best lures have been medium size Zara Spook's, Rebel Pop R's and Storm Chug Bugs.

After the sun gets up stripers and catfish can be caught on cut bait (anchovies or sardines).

Later in the day fish the shady spots, especially the river for some really nice smallmouth bass. They are being caught on plastic baits and rattle traps in brown to brown/red colors.

Some quality catfish are biting at night on cut bait or small bluegills.
