The dust has settled after the big tourney and Black Pearl didn't win but held her own with most of the fleet. We had 154 Blue Marlin caught and released out of 34 boats in the USVI Open/Atlantic Blue Marlin Tournament (Boy-scouts). Now we have the September moon coming up on the 4Th and it should have a great bite. For the June, July, and August the average pound Blue Marlin was 350 - 500, and a couple of grander's were released. The North Drop and St. Thomas has proven to still be one of the top deep sea fishing waters, and one of the best Blue Marlin homes in the entire world and was ranked #2 this year. So now we are in the 12 day window of September moon and if you Marlin fishermen haven't booked your charter now is the time to get the best dates, also keep in mind that the October moon has also proven in the past few years of having a great bite on the North Drop, BVI and Black Pearl holds an annual license to get you there. For the non Marlin Fishermen the Wahoo, Yellow Fin Tuna, and more are offshore and the US & British Virgin Islands has allot to offer. Book your charter now for best dates. For current rate info visit www.blackpearlsportfishing.com for immediate response call 340-777-1493. We look forward to taking you fishing soon. Capt. Jim, Diane, & Crew.
