|
|
| Fishing offshore for Bluefin Tuna has been great. Some days the fish are feeding right on our chumslick and will eat the fly readily. Both Bluefin Tuna and Skipjack Tuna are on tap everyday the weather allows us to get there. The Bluefin range from 30-150 pounds and are the ultimate challenge on Fly. Although you have to put your time in to get the Bluefin to eat the fly most days the Skipjack almost always cooperate. BItterfly jigs always produce as well as Sardines As far as flyfishing, our boat record of a 100 pound Bluefin on fly still stands from last year. Angler Bill Dawson still has the distintion of largest fish landed on a Fin Chaser boat. Come out and try to knock Bill off of his podium! Peace |
