The annual Trinidad Tarpon Thunder was run from the 14th to the 16th of August 2009.
The fishing was very competitive this year and had 26 boats and 109 anglers taking part.
We managed only 1 fish on day one which left us way down the field trailing the top boat by 6 fish.
Day two we caught 10 Tarpon which was the catch of the day and consequently boosted us to a tie for 2nd place.
With only one session to fish on Sunday (the final day), we caught 2 fish and earned ourselves third place best boat and third best angler this year.
Once again the tournament was a great success with over 180 releases.
