|
|
The summer season is in full swing! We've continued to receive better than average rainfall throughout the region, which has maintained water levels nicely. As most anglers know, our streams remain cold through the summer months due to springs and cold water aquifers. All of our fish are wild or stream conditioned.
Terrestrial dry fly fishing has been fantastic, with relentless surface feeding activity. August is arguably the best terrestrial dry fly month - the insects are large and juicy - these are what big trout love! Hatches this month include tricos, hexagenias and the Ephoron mayfly - most often referred to as the "white fly".
Our trips are all-inclusive, beginner to expert - all equipment included. Want to know how the fishing has been from a client's perspective? We encourage reference requests from past clients.
We are on the water every day -we are you resource for fly fishing in central Pennsylvania.

See you on the water....
