Lake Minnetonka
Bass fishing has been Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!! They are shallow, in-between, and deep. Shallow fish inside weed lines, slop, and docks are doing great. We use Thorne Bros. Ogre Slugs. Sinkos and Poppers for shallow fish. In-between water Leena Lure spinner baits and buzz baits, make sure you use ones with GOLD BLADES!Deep bass biting on jig worms and football jigs with Chompers Twin Tail grubs.
Walleyes are also hitting live bait rigs with leeches, and spinner rigs with night crawlers. Run the weed line 14 – 18 feet of water. You will not believe this but the best time to fish them is 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Northern have been biting on the weed edge using live bait rigs with medium sucker minnows. Trolling Rapala Tail Dancers in 13- 20 feet of water is also producing nice fish.

Walleyes are biting great in the evening on the rocks 6- 13 feet. Slip floats with 1/16 oz. jigs tipped with leeches. We are catching more slot fish during this time of day. Some flats are doing ok, but keep moving until you find fish on your locator. Use 8 – 12 foot snells tipped with leeches or night crawlers.
