After starting the weekend off in Vermont getting some wedding planning done, I was out on the water this morning with Rick Miller. The weather was perfect with sunny skies and a very light wind. We found fish right away not too far outside of the harbor and he hooked a fish early on fly. The rest of the morning was much of the same; Small schools of fish feeding on herring. They were spread throughout the harbor and were not on the surface for long, but we were able to hook into some nice fish. While on a school of fish outside Quincy, Rick hooked into a monster that must have been hanging just below the school of smaller fish. After bringing him into his backing more than once, we landed the 36” fish.
We have continued to have successful trips each day out there and the fishing has been consistent. School ends in two weeks and then I should be on the water more often during the weekday. Book your charter today.
Tight lines,
Captain Webb
