"Remote. Powerful. Unforgiving. A river wild. Just the way the world's biggest Arctic char like it."

"Unforgettable. You could never spend money or time more wisely – and I hope you all reading this realize that before it’s too late."
- Gene Johnson
"The best part of this trip is the people and the relationships we have developed, both with other guests and the Plummer’s Staff. The staff are some of the nicest, most genuine people I have met my entire life. I think about these people and the environment at Plummer's on a daily basis."
- Chris Collins
"Over the past 9 years our group has caught more than its fair share of big fish. When we ran the final tally of the “Over 20 Board” this year and counted 74 fish, we were all surprised. I know your “hug and release” policy is helping make Great Slave Lake a true trophy fish destination."
- John H. Allen, The Missouri Bankers Association
"The crew treated us great and the food was excellent. The highlights for our group were seeing a Grizzly Bear, the “spectacular” Grayling fishing and of course my 43-lb Laker!"
- Joel
"Everyone was so helpful and welcoming and your staff looked after us so well. Plummers has a very dedicated and professional team which, coupled with their own very personal touch, makes guests feel special."
- John Elsley
"The staff, the set up and the whole operation is unbelievable - even more so when you consider the logistics of operating in such a remote area. The whole thing is awesome."
- Tim Ingram
"I have fished many places in Canada, Alaska, the Caribbean, and South America, and Great Bear was by far the most enjoyable, best-run camp we have ever experienced."
- Ben James Jr., Missouri
"The Smith Arm has to be the last place on earth where regardless of whether you are trolling for lake trout or casting for grayling, you know that any minute you could have the next world record on your line"
- Dr. Jay Zvolanek, D.D.S.
"It was one incredible week! Plummers Arctic Fishing Lodge tucked in the northeast part of Great Bear Lake, in the Northwest Territories, Canada. Almost nine (9) years have passed, yet I can transport myself back with all the sights, sounds and feelings as if it were yesterday."

"I admit that while the days leading up to my July, 2007 trip to Plummer's Great Slave Lake with my husband, father-in-law, and brother were filled with my fear of having said yes to going in the first place, my phobia of spiders, and my personal challenge of packing 'light', it turned out to be an unforgettable and amazing adventure..."

"Plummers Great Slave Lake Lodge - Been going for the last three years and can't imagine a summer without a little taste of heaven. Reduced flights and higher costs have not deterred Plummer's from making every effort possible to make the trip well worth the effort for Lake Trout fishing that is out of this world and where else can you stand twenty feet from a 737 landing on a gravel runway..... Plummers Lodge is the place to go for huge lakers great fun and one of the most enjoyable fishing trips I've ever been on. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to make your trip as personalized as you want. I've done my fair share of both saltwater and fresh water fishing and all I have to say is you will never experience fishing quite like this. Here are a few pics from the adventure. The one Laker was 35lbs. and 12 over 20lbs that week. Think we ended landing between 400 to 500 fish with the smallest around 8lbs. Non stop action in the land of the midnight sun. We went in late July but have heard that mid August fishing is even better. If I could recommend one fishing trip in your life it's NWT Great Slave Lake Lake Trout Action...." - Ryan Lloyd
