“Here is the picture of my 47.25” .Catching a fish like this was truly an experience to remember. I caught it on a large Bucktail, after about a fifteen minute battle to get it close to the boat she spit out the lure. Cowboy our guide, Tom Somenske my partner, and I just stood there in silence looking at this beautiful fish lying in the water. With the lure one foot away from her mouth, I pushed the release button on my reel and let the lure sink. Suddenly she bent in half like a horse shoe and hammered the lure again! The next thing you know Cowboy was leaning way too far out of the boat with the net on one side and I was leaning way too far out of the boat on the other side pulling the fish toward the net mean while Tom was picking himself up from the bottom of the boat encouraging us to do well (three guys changing position in one boat that fast was tricky!) Finally she was in. We were all truly exhausted. After we thought that nothing could top that adventure Cowboy said come on boys there’s fish to catch here! Wouldn’t you know Tom came close by catching two more Masters with in a half an hour! Thank you and to all that made this trip happen!" Rick Discher
