During the months of March and April 2008, the Haumana went through dry dock in Papeete, Tahiti.

Engines were replaced, air conditionned system revised, decks redone,
boat re-painted, cabins refurbished.

Beautiful bed linens and "tifaifai" (Tahitian patchwork) embellish the cabins, new pillows, new decorations items and flat screen TV bring those little modern and Polynesian touches.

New stylish Philippe Starck furniture brings a vibrant atmosphere
on the Upper Deck and bar area.

The Chef has elaborated some fantastic menus for the pleasure of the palate, using local ingredients such as coconut milk, tropical fruits and of course the variety of fish and seafood that can be found in these islands, all with the French cuisine influence.
After this beauty treatment, the Haumana is in better shape than ever, offering the traveler, incredible and unique experiences in the pristine environment of Rangiroa.
