Hello All,
After a late ice out, this year has been shaping up to be one of the best. We look forward to inviting anyone who has fished Athabasca before to our world class lodge!! With recent upgrades such as new boats, innovative new tackle/techniques we are finding more fish and catching more lunkers. In 2009 look for solar power, more fish smokers, new craddles, and different mixed plans. We also have a outpost camp that we would like to get open so please email me if your looking for an adventure such as that. Also wanted to give you guys a little info on the Management of IHC, Manager is Mike Binns, who is myself, the author of this report. I have guided the lake, fished world wide such as, florida, mexico, costa rica, ontario, and grew up on Georgian Bay. " I have fished everywhere and the fishery Athabasca has cannot be beat, there are not many lakes out there where you can catch 40 fish plus everyday if you'de like". "I find it hard to fish elsewhere as the lake spoils you". Please feel free to call me anytime to discuss trip options at (780) 242 9202. Jordan Nagy is the Head Guide inside the Lodge and that guy can find massive lunkers, he went to school in Vermillion, Alberta for the guiding program and has since guided big white tails and mule deer, and next year will be his 3rd season with us. Jordan is always smiling and pictured in a few pictures below. We staff our lodge with guys that will make your trip a great experience, they are happy, positive and willing to their hardest for you, day in and day out.We at Indian Head Camp know that once you give us a try you will be back for more. We are client a client focused, young, energectic group who aims to please you, the client; year after year.If you want the experience of fishing for massive lakers and pike, or if you wanna dabble with light tackle for grayling and whitefish we can do all of that!! This year the biggest fish has been a whopping 52 lb lake trout, or 26kg laker for those from European Countries. Many many more fish have been caught in the 30-45 lb range!! Check out the pics below and we look forward to accomodating any requests in Sept 2008, or in the season for 2009! You have tried the rest, now try the best!!![/quote]
