It has been a very interesting last few days in East Tennessee! The national park recorded wind speeds of 100-108 MPH the other night! These are hurricane force winds and caused widespread damage throughout Townsend, TN and inside the smokys. Most roads were closed for a day and clean up was a mess. There are still many roads that are closed, call (865) 436-1200 for updated road information. Needless to say the weather has gotten better it hit 84 degrees on Wed. and was very pleasent, the fishing has been fair, there are lots of leaves on the water because of the storms and is making fishing a little tuff, but rain this evening should push some of those leaves out! The weekend looks nice and hopefully things will get back to normal!!
