Hy Fishermans. Capt.Francisco Rosario with the last report. We have a trip with Mr.Greg Gibson from Idaho and Mr. Frank from California for Tarpon on Fly, and release a Tarpon probaly the biggest Tarpon ever caught on Fly. It has 78 inches length and 48 inches girth (224 pounds) approximate weight . We take a picture and release the Tarpon in good condition. For this caught we use a Temple Forf Fly rod model TiCr X Series style 10 Wt. 4pcs and 9' lenght with a TFO Large Arbor Reel 425 that hold 275 yards of 30lb. backing and the Fly line was a RIO Tropical Intermedaia for salt water WF10. The flie we use to caught the tarpon was a custom white deceiver (Boqueron Bay pattern). The flurocarbon used in the leader was a Seaguard. "Congratulations Greg, a lifetime fish..."
