Yellow Breeches Creek Fly Fishing Legendary limestone stream, 60' wide at its middle stretch. Fed by limestone springs and freestone tributaries. Holds a mix of stocked and wild trout with excellent spawning habitat. Prolific insect hatches and an excellent forage base. Hatches include blue winged olives, caddis, march browns, sulfurs, tricos, little black stoneflies, white mayflies and exciting terrestrial dry fly fishing in the warmer months. Little Juniata River Fly Fishing A large limestone creek full of wild trout. Limestone springs feed the river and their cool alkaline flows support a rich crop of trout food. Insect hatches are prolific, and 18" fish are not uncommon. Big Spring Creek Fly Fishing Originates from large limestone springs with a consistent flow of cool, fertile water. Limestone springs wild trout water is managed as a wild trout area. Hatches include blue winged olives, midges, sulfurs; cress bugs and shrimp abound. Susquehanna River Fly Fishing World-class smallmouth bass fishery, with an excellent forage base of insects and baitfish. Rock formations, islands and weed beds provide perfect habitat. You will not find better smallmouth bass fishing anywhere. Letort Spring Run Fly Fishing Legendary and well-known from the writings of many skilled anglers. Many new fly-fishing techniques and patterns have developed here to fool the creek's wary, large brown trout. Long, fine leaders and careful presentations are important. Fly fishing history has been made here. Spring Creek Fly Fishing Large limestone creek of legendary status. National reputation for big, wild browns averaging 12 to 14 inches, with terrific fly hatches. This stream has attracted well-known fishermen, and stories of 25 to 27 inch fish are not uncommon.
