VILLA CAMILLA

Villa Camilla is a tranquil oceanside retreat, emphasizing comfort, personalized service and simple orchestration within an intimate setting.

In 1997, French designer Gilles Saint-Gilles and his wife Camille arrived to Panama from Paris to visit friends and were immediately seduced by the region´s rich folkloric character and the gentle rolling hills. Drawing from a portfolio which includes Arab palaces, high-end apartments, designer fashion boutiques and renovations of medieval French castles, the couple stayed to create Azueros, an elegant oceanside community built in harmony with nature, blending exquisite design and Old World Craftsmanship. Villa Camilla is the first testament to this dream.

Construction of Villa Camilla began in March 2002 and was completed in August 2004. In December of 2005, the Villa opened its doors to guests from around the world.

At every corner, details testify to the architect´s aesthetic and the quality of Azueros´ craftsmen. Bougainvillea climbs the Venetian plaster hand-rubbed walls. Water trickles over the wide edges of the grand pool. The soothing Pacific breezes rustle the thatch covering and hammocks of the rooftop terrace.

Footpaths set in river stone wander through immaculate gardens of tropical flowers and trees. Unspoiled vistas stretch over gentle hills into a wide Pacific blue. All is visually enchanting and inspires peaceful relaxation.

La Reserve Villas

Within La Reserve are large perfect ocean-view building envelopes, each carefully selected from hundreds of possibilities.

The central location of these Phase I lots make them the perfect option for those wishing to combine the privacy of a hilltop country estate with proximity to the heart of the Azueros community.

Not far from the Beach Villas, Ocean Lofts and future Azueros Village, homes are surrounded by the exuberant vegetation of their own nature reserve and landscaped gardens.

With eight model villas, homes may also be custom- designed.

Noble materials are used in design and construction including artisanal terra cotta, indigenous hardwoods, local river stone, aged roof tiles, clay bricks and polished lime based plaster with natural tints.

Beach Villas

The two- to six-bedroom Beach Villas are ideally situated overlooking the wide tan sand beach of Los Destiladeros with views extending across the Pacific Ocean.

Each spacious villa features a private swimming pool with pool garden, exclusive furnishings, and broad terraces surrounded by tropical gardens.

Architectural and decorative elements are inspired from Spain, North Africa, the Asian Pacific Coast and design elements typical to the Azuero Peninsula.

Ocean Loft Lodging

Set within a beautiful garden enclave, the two-level Ocean Lofts are perfect for couples or small families.

The lower level, depending on the unit, includes a day bed (similar to a queen size bed) or sofa for one person, a fully equipped kitchen, full bath and terrace.

The upper level includes a queen size bed (and additional bed in select units), full bath and terrace.

All units include split air-conditioning, telephone, Internet access, and a shared social area with pool and garden.

With access to Villa Camilla amenities and services, the Ocean Lofts are just a short stroll to the beach.

Beach Studio

Located just off the broad beaches of Los Destiladeros, the Beach Studios are set within a beautiful garden landscape of colorful foliage, fountains and covered walkways.

Rich terracotta, fresh off-white and light ochre interiors feature teak wood finishes, smooth Venetian plaster, and cool terracotta and stone floor tiles. Floor to ceiling glass doors open onto ocean and garden view terraces brushed by the Pacific Ocean breezes.
