Join Charlton Charters on the 50 Foot Ruby Sea (Biggest Charter Boat in the Area) for an action packed ocean or Columbia River chartered fishing trip near Astoria, Oregon. Our boat can accommodate up to 20 persons.

Our fishing charter boat, Ruby Sea, (Biggest Charter Boat in Astoria), can carry up to14 passengers for fishing per person or a 20 passenger group. All boats are U. S. Coast Guard approved. They are clean and modern, with inside cabins, bathroom (head), and covered decks for your comfort.

Fish cleaning and bagging is included with all salmon and sturgeon trips. Processing is available for halibut and tuna but costs extra.

Check in times for charter trips vary according to tides, but are typically 5:00 to 7:00 a.m. for morning trips. Afternoon trips are usually 2:00 to 3:00 pm.

Astoria Salmon Fishing Charter

Salmon Fishing: per person 12/14 passenger boat or groups up to 20.

June 28 opening day for ocean Coho and Chinook seven days a week 2 fish per person .

August 1- Sept. Buoy 10 river Salmon opens we are open North of Cape Falcon here at the Columbia river.

Bottom Fishing Charter

Bottom Fishing: per person 12/14 passenger boat or groups up to 20.

Includes bait and tackle, fish cleaning and bagging. You are responsible for, food and beverages, license and appropriate clothing. Coffee is provided on board.

Astoria Tuna Fishing Charter

Albacore Tuna Fishing: Call for rates per person (day trip) Our tuna boat can take a maximum of 12 persons.

Includes bait and tackle. You are responsible for, food and beverages, license and appropriate clothing. Coffee is provided on board. Fish processing is extra and available near by.

Season: August-September. There is no limit on tuna, you can keep all the fish you can catch.

Astoria Sturgeon Fishing Charter

Sturgeon Fishing: Per person 12/14 passenger boat or groups up to 20 astoria oregon sturgeon fishing,

Includes bait and tackle. You are responsible for, food and beverages, license/tag and appropriate clothing. Coffee is provided on board.

Season: Year-round. Best fishing is typically experienced May-November (barring inseason closures). Per person limit is one sturgeon 42 to 60 inches in length (size requirements subject to inseason changes)

Crabing Trips

Dungeness Crab: Trips are offered year-round. Best crabbing is typically experienced October through December. Call for prices.

Cooking, cleaning, bagging and ice is included. A shellfish licenses is required.

Astoria, Oregon Halibut Fishing Charter

Halibut Fishing: per person 12/14 passenger boat or groups up to 20 . Why go to Alaska? Limits daily!

Includes bait and tackle. You are responsible for, food and beverages, license/tag and appropriate clothing. Coffee is provided on board. Fish processing is extra and available near by.

Season: May-September. Seasons may vary according to available quotas and inseason changes.

All fishing tackle and equipment is provided including bait and life jackets. You will need to bring food and drink and appropriate clothing. Coffee is provided aboard most vessels. Please dress for the weather; wear warm clothing in layers. It is cold in the mornings and you may remove layers as it gets warmer during the day. A stocking hat or scarf to block the wind is also recommended.

All charter boats have restrooms and cabins but when you are fishing you will want to be out on the decks to catch all the action. Bring warm clothing and boots, as the mornings are cool. You will also need to buy a one-day fishing license salmon/halibut tag prior to your trip (available at charter office) $12.00.

To help avoid sea sickness always get a good nights sleep the night before your trip. Eating a light breakfast will also help. If you are prone to sea sickness you may want to take a Dramamine tablet the day before your trip. In order for Dramamine to work properly you must take it the day prior to your trip.
