What does it "really" take to make people happy? Ninety-nine percent of people would probably answer "fish" and lots of them! They’re right, but a whole bunch more has to happen before you even get near a boat. There are hundreds of good lakes in Canada but not all of them produce good fishing trips like Lac Seul. To start with it takes an outfitter with ATTITUDE. That is the single most important ingredient at any lodge. When it comes to attitude we put it on the "line" for you! Yes--this place and everyone in it has a 4-wheel-drive attitude!  So really, are we the cheapest? No! Not a chance. But we are far from the most expensive. We don’t want to give you a cheap trip. Yes, we know there are cheaper trips out there, but that’s exactly what they are--cheap! Not value for your money.
Like we said before, we put it on the line for you, and we don’t mean just the fish. On top of that, remember the most important "cast" of your trip is the cast that will serve you. We fish for 5 different species including fat juicy Walleye, thrashing Northern Pike, pink-meated Lake Trout, muscular Muskie, and fighting Smallmouth Bass. Imagine fishing for 5 different species of fresh water fish all on the same trip. Whether you’re a novice or pro, you will find fishing with us the vacation of a lifetime!
Our main lodge is situated on Abram Lake 8 miles south of Sioux Lookout on Hwy. 72. From our base camp, these waters extend into Botsford, Minnitaki, Pelican, Lost Lake and Lac Seul. Further, we have equipment on Big and Little Vermilion Lakes, as well as our own private landing to access the legendary Lac Seul! FISHING GUIDES & EQUIPMENT  To make your fishing vacation complete, we have on staff some of the most experienced guides in the area. Familiar with the water surrounding Sioux Lookout, their experience and knowledge of the outdoors will captivate you! With their expertise, our guides will take you safely to and from the fishing action in our 16-foot Lund boats equipped with new 25 h.p. Mercury motors, or our deluxe 20-foot Bowriders equipped with 115 h.p. Mercury motors. Guided or on your own, the action is there to test your skill! Without a doubt you will say... "I want to go back to Anderson’s, where the action is!"
ACCOMMODATIONS  We invite you to experience and enjoy our tradition of quality and the finest accommodations in the Sioux Lookout area. Our facilities are sure to please even the most particular guest. Through careful planning and thoughtful design, they allow for maximum corn-fort and total relaxation. Luxurious and private-these accommodations are available for parties of 2 or even a group of 20! They lend themselves to the most accommodating features...
Pine siding inside and out, cedar vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, full decks with chairs, spacious and tastefully decorated living and sleeping areas, carpeting and cushion flooring just to name a few of the perks for added comfort. Double beds are in all of these units with quality Simmons mattresses, reading lights, molded full-piece tub/shower units and electric coffee makers along with complimentary coffee. Of course we can not forget to mention windows, lots of them, to give you that perfect view of the lake in all of its natural beauty! Daily maid service means that you don’t have to make the beds-WE DO! Furnishing you with crisp white linens and bedding, our staff will tidy and clean your cabin, leaving you with fresh laundered towels for your added comfort. FISHING RATES Unlike other lodges, when you choose to fish with us you have choices in the type of package that will best suit your fishing vacation needs. We accommodate parties of any size, offering packages from 2 days of fishing through to a week - whatever will suit your schedule.
You have choices in the type of trip you want, from complete service and amenities of our American Plan Packages which feature different types of equipment, the 21' Bowrider Package or our American Plan Packages #1 and #2. Or you may prefer to do a do a first class fly-in outpost trip to one of our camps on Lac Seul or try Tully Lake where we do full outpost trips and also one day fly-ins from our base camp. Now is that flexibility and convenience or what? American Plan Bowrider Package Our most popular package - a 21' Bowrider with a walk through windshield and full canopy top to keep you out of the wind and protected from harsh sun on hot days and dry on rainy days. Plush swivel seats with full padded backs make this like fishing from your living room chair. Eight bases means you can fish in comfort from "any" place in this boat. Two locations from the raised bow and six other places in the main part of the Cruiser make this boat perfectly comfortable for groups of 2 to 6 including your guide. Spacious and roomy - it almost sounds like we are talking about a house!
