 Bayview Lodge is located in Minaki, Nortern Ontario, thirty miles north of Lake Of The Woods and Kenora, Canada. Bayview Lodge allows you access to Canada's finest fishing grounds in Nortern Ontario on the Winnipeg River System Fishery.
Experience Muskie fishing in one of the greatest Muskie fisheries in the world. There is also fishing for Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Perch, Sturgeon, and Whitefish. Winnipeg River Fishing
No better fishing can be found in Northern Ontario. On the Winnipeg Lakes and River System you have access to five fishing lakes by boat without portage and three rivers. Our fishery is over forty-five miles in length. Many trophy Walleye, Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Muskie are caught and released here.
On the Winnipeg River System Fishery in the centre of the five lakes that make up our fishery which we simply call the Winnipeg River Fishery. The Winnipeg River flows into Manitoba from The Lake of the Woods at Kenora Ontario located thirty miles to the south. Bayview Lodge is in Ontario located near the center of the five lakes area of the Winnipeg Lakes And River Fishery that makes up the first 45 miles of our lakes and river system. The fishery is superb in every respect.
Lake and River Fishing
 The Winnipeg Lakes And River is a lesser known fishery that consists of five lakes and three rivers of the Winnipeg River System that is forty-five miles in length. The lakes are Big Sand Lake, Little Sand Lake, Rough Rock Lake, Pistol Lake and Gunn Lake, and three rivers, the McFarlene River, Black Sturgeon River and the Winnipeg River, provide unequaled fishing experiences and the variety offered by lakes and river fishing scenarios. The Winnipeg Lakes And River Fishery is found between the Norman Dam at the Lake Of The Woods headwaters of the Winnipeg River and the Whitedog Dam located a further 45 miles to the north of Minaki.

Bayview Lodge has a new cedar and pine main lodge with a comfortable dining room to serve delicious home-cooked meals for our American Plan guests. The main lodge lounge provides a warm, homey setting for relaxation or socializing after a long day on the lake.
There are 8 self catering equipped housekeeping cabins well furnished with all the comforts of home. We have 3 & 4 bedroom cabins with 2 bathrooms each which can accommodate 2-10 people. All have electricity, hot and cold running water, showers and flush toilets.Our cabins are also set up for housekeeping, all completely equipped with electric fridge and stove, dishes, pots and pans and kitchen utensils. With a maximum capacity of 50 guests, we can cater to both large and small groups.
