Salmon Season OPEN, Klamath River CA

The Klamath River is open for both Salmon and Steelhead fishing with a huge 22500 fish quota for adult (over 22 in.) King Salmon. There is a three fish per day limit for kings (two adults and one jack). There is also a one hatchery fish limit per day on the Klamath. The Klamath River is the most beautiful River in the state that you can run a jet boat on. Wildlife encounters will include: bear, deer, otters, mink, osprey, bald eagles, great blue herons, egrets, bobcats, occasionally mountain lions!!

The Lower Klamath River is one hour north of Eureka California on the wild rivers coast! Low cost lodging is available. Don't miss out on salmon season!! Come to the Klamath River for the trip of a life time!!
