NWT Fishing Lodge Northwest Territory Fishing Vacation  Lac La Martre has Northern Pike, Lake Trout and Arctic Grayling. Our NWT Fishing Lodge will satisfy anglers who want to catch a lot of large fish on a daily basis durting their Northwest Territory fishing vacation. Lac La Martre Lodge is truly an adventure worth visiting.
While we get more pike fishermen early in the season and more Trout fishermen later in the season, any of the 8 weeks we are open will give you a good chance at a 20lb fish of either species.We track the fish caught each year in our lake and can say that 20lb Northern Pike and Lake Trout are almost a daily occurrence. 25lb fish are not uncommon for the week and a number of 30lb fish are not uncommon for our season. There are NO FLY OUTS. All the fish caught are from our lake. The lake is strictly catch and release and we ask that you use barbless hooks and at least 20lb test line. Lake Trout are caught by either casting or trolling in open water. Our lake is 65 feet at its deepest, and most of the open water is less than 30 feet never requiring down riggers etc. for Lake Trout. Pike are caught in the bays casting into weeds and sometimes even sight casting for them. Arctic Grayling is a day trip to the river on the south end of the lake. 
Lac La Martre NWT Canada Fishing Lodge
Lac La Martre Lodge is located in the Northwest Territories, (NWT), of Canada, 125 miles northwest of Yellowknife. The lake is nearly 1,000 sq. miles of cold clear water, with countless bays and islands. The Lodge itself is located on an island in the middle of the lake and is only accessible by float plane. The camp consists of 7 guest cabins, Main Lodge/Dining Room, and Central Shower House. We only accommodate 12 persons each week. The season is limited to 8 weeks, from the end of June to late August. We pride ourselves in personal service. Our limited space does book up well in advance.
Northwest Territory fishing Cabin Accommodations  Your own cabin will sleep 2 or three persons, from your party. Carpeting, heat and electricity are standard. All the bedding such as pillows, pillow cases, sheets, and blankets is provided. We also supply towels and wash clothes in the carpeted, heated Shower House. Nothing quite beats a nice hot shower at the end of the day. There are also plenty of sinks with hot and cold water to freshen up or shave.
Getting To Lac La Martre NWT Canada Fishing Lodge
 We have tried to make the trip as trouble free as possible. We assist you with hotel and flight arrangements north from Edmonton, Alberta to Yellowknife. We provide shuttles to and from the float base. Your travel to the lodge will start the day prior to your arrival and you will fly home from Edmonton the day after you leave the lodge. The float plane ride to camp is just under one hour. On arrival at camp you will be greeted by us, get settled in, and then its off to fish Lac La Martre.
