 We invite you to join us for a northern adventure filled with fun and great memories. Yellowknife Outdoor Adventures offers you fully-guided boat trips, sightseeing, bird watching, fishing for pike and our famous dinner cruises. We also offer fly in day trips to the East Arm, Virginia Falls and Nahanni National Park.
Our fall and winter programs include Aurora viewing from our cozy wilderness cabin, guided snowmobile excursions on Great Slave Lake and the surrounding area, ice road tours, art tours, dog sled rides and diamond polishing demonstrations.

Yellowknife Outdoor Adventures is owned and operated by Carlos Gonzalez, a 28-year resident of the Northwest Territories. Passionate about the outdoors, Carlos loves to share his knowledge of the seasons, the wildlife, the fish and the natural beauty of this spectacular part of the Canada. An award-winning guide, teacher and restaurant owner, Carlos treasures what he calls “the outdoor moments”, the colors of the seasons, the habits of the wildlife and above all, the terrific northern pike fishing on Great Slave Lake.

Great Slave Lake Fly Fishing for Northern Pike
If you are an avid fisherman or have a friend, spouse or child that would really like fast action pike fishing in the 4-10 pound category, and occasionally some 15-20 pounders, then let us guide you to those hot spots. No fishing experience needed!
All fishing and fly fishing gear/tackle is supplied.
Northern Pike Fishing:

Great Slave Lake Pike Fishing Accommodations
 When our packages include accommodation, you will stay at Chateau Nova Hotel & Suites in downtown Yellowknife. The hotel is handy to shopping and restaurants. This intimate 80 room hotel features outstanding service, meeting rooms, hot tub and well equipped fitness center. The hotel’s Papa Jim’s Restaurant is open daily.
Non-smoking rooms feature one queen or two double beds, high ceilings, air conditioning, iron/board and hair dryer, hi-speed internet and satellite TV. Studio accommodation, at additional cost, includes a fully-equipped kitchen. Optional services include freezer storage for fish and Business Center.
