Trophy Fishing for Salmon, Trout, Steelhead & Walleye
on the Salmon River & Surrounding Tributaries
and Lake Ontario.

Lake Ontario's Eastern Basin has developed into one of the finest fisheries in the country. Putting this together with over a decade of experience pursuing Trout and Salmon insures you a day of fishing you'll never forget.

Lake Ontario Fishing
Fish Lake Ontario for salmon, trout, walleyes and bass aboard a 30' 2000 Penn Yan Prowler equipped for your comfort and safety.

We are located in the Oswego Harbor, one of Lake Ontario's most productive ports. We have incredible spring trout and walleye fishing , plus the advantage of being close to deep water gives us easy access to steelhead and offshore salon fishing. Come see for yourself - the Oswego Area is the place to be. For something different, join us on Oneida Lake, Sandy Pond and various other small lakes for bass, walleye, pike and panfish. Fishing aboard our fully equipped 18' Lund.

Fall Salmon River Fishing Season
Our season begins in September when giant King Salmon begin to migrate up the Salmon and Oswego Rivers. We fish for these trophy Kings with fly rods and large, brightly colored flies. Once we have sufficient water flow, we put our driftboats into service and use large, high action plugs to take these aggressive and territorial fish. Salmon will strike plugs, and I receive a great deal of satisfaction from making believers of people who thought you could catch Salon by snagging them.

Salmon River, New York, fishing guide, salmon, steelhead, walleye,Spend a day with me and I will show you how to really catch Salmon, from bank or boat.

By mid-October, large numbers of egg gobbling Steelhead start entering the rivers. Mixed catches of Salmon and Trout provide great action into late November. October is also time to match your skills against a trophy Brown Trout. We only have a limited number of days to target these monsters, so you must book early to get a prime date.

Winter River Fishing Season
During the winter months, Steelhead continue to come into all the tributaries of the lake. The crowds disappear with the colder temperatures of winter, but the fishing stays hot. A winter float trip aboard our heated driftboat is a great way to learn the river and experience its beauty.

Spring River Fishing Season
By late March the snow is melting and Steelhead are spawning. As these fish drop back to the lake, they feed ferociously to regain strength and body weight. Action in April and early May can be spectacular. These fish will take all offerings; plugs, flies and live bait are all tempting.

If smaller tributaries are more to your liking, we can schedule wade trips for spawning Trout. I keep a close watch on water levels in these streams. The fish move in and out rapidly with the changing conditions. Fishing several different tributaries in one day is not uncommon. I won't guarantee you fish, but will promise you an enjoyable and informative day the water, with an excellent change at landing that trophy fish.

"I fish year 'round and provide you with a complete guide service. I have spent my entire life hunting and fishing in the Northeast. I will personally do everything possible to make your trip memorable and your dreams for a trophy come true."
