Cape May Fishing Charters on New Jersey's Premier Charter Boats
 Over Under Sport fishing operates Cape May New Jersey premier fishing charter boats. From May through November, you’ll find us NJ Canyon fishing for Tuna out of Avalon, NJ just north of Cape May. From expert angle, to complete novice, OU will cater the trip to your particular desired experience. Full instructional charters are also available.
OU fishes major sharks, marlin, and tuna tournaments such as the Mid Atlantic 500, Cape May Shark Tournament, and Ocean City White Marlin Open. Our Cape May NJ fishing charter boats dock at Avalon Point Marina which is one of the most conveniently located facilities, with respect to the inlet, in all Cape May County. Chartering out of Avalon allows our NJ Charter Boats to fish areas not frequented by the Cape May Charter Boats, like the Spencer, Lindenkohl, and Carteret Canyons. Cape May Fishing Charter Boats
 LOW PROFILE is a 2000 55 Gwaltney Custom Carolina Built Sportfish. This boat is fast, clean, and super nice. Carolina Boats are known for their bow flare, sharp entries and great rides. The Low Profile is no exception. She performs beautifully in the sea and is a fish-raising machine. Whether it's a fun filled day fishing, or a serious overnight tuna charter you're after, this boat will get the job done in style. LOW PROFILE is equipped with a release fighting chair, eskimo ice machine, reverse osmosis water maker, fully air conditioned salon and sleeping quarters, TV, DVD, Stereo, VCR, and much more!
THAT'S RIGHT is the newest edition to the OUA fleet. This is a brand new 50' 2007, custom New Jersey Sportfish, designed with NJ Canyon fishing in mind. The boat has the largest cockpit in it's class and is USCG licensed for up to 13 Passengers. THAT'S RIGHT has three fighting chairs, a fully air conditioned salon, live-well, custom drink boxes, tv, stereo, and is powered by two dependable Cummins Diesel Engines. This boat is a fishing machine! In 2009 THAT'S RIGHT will be Fishing in NJ for Overnight Tuna Charters in September and October, as well as Striped Bass fishing in Cape May in November and December.
 JUSTIFIED is a 48' Ocean Yacht, licensed to carry up to 6 passengers. In 2009 we will once again have this fine Cape May fishing charter boat available for all our inshore fishing needs. This boat is very fast, has a large air conditioned salon and is a boat that consistently knows how to find the fish! JUSTIFIED handles all our inshore fishing here in New Jersey and fishing just north of Cape May allows us to target great Bluefish Grounds, Striped Bass, Bonito, Dolphin, Sharks and all sorts of great fighting fish. From June through November, you'll find our boats docked at Avalon Point Marina in Avalon, NJ. Avalon Point Marina is one of the most conveniently located marinas, with respect to the inlet, in all of South Jersey. Departing from Avalon, NJ (13 miles north of Cape May) allows OUA to fish areas not frequented by the North Jersey and Cape May fleets. Often you'll find an Over Under Charter working a scallop boat on the way to the canyons with not another sportfish in sight. You'll also find that Over Under frequents the Lindenkohl and Spencer canyons, which are again less heavily trafficked than the canyons to the south and have produced the best catches over the last few years. Most charter boats south of Avalon, NJ will NOT fish these canyons due to the lengthy runs. Our average run is 70 miles, not the 100 miles typical out of North New Jersey.
NJ Canyon Fishing Overnight Trips Are Our Specialty
 From August through November, we specialize in overnight NJ canyon fishing trips. Our boats are set up specifically with these trips in mind, making the runs in comfort and style. Often we will stop inshore and look for bluefin behind working scallop boats, before heading off to the edge to troll. On the troll we target marlin, tuna, and dolphin. Once the sun sets, we typically drop anchor, and get the chunk slick going. Usually it's just a matter of time till the Yellowfin tuna show up and if you're lucky you'll get a shot at either a swordfish or a Mako shark throughout the night.
Note: All our boats are set up to anchor in the canyon. If your boat is not capable of anchoring in 600' of water, you are on the wrong boat!
 Cape May Striped Bass Fishing October to December
From Late October through mid December, we will be getting in on the world class Striped Bass Fishing that happens in the Cape May Rips and Delaware Bay. Come and fish the Cape May rips with us and you'll see why this is the boat to charter for your Cape May Striped Bass Fishing Adventure. The fall fishing here in South New Jersey, is outstanding. Blues, Striped Bass, and Sea Bass are all abundant in October and November.
