Chandeleur Islands fishing for Trout and Redfish by Mothership
 The most popular way to fish The Chandeleurs is by Mother Ship. The Mother Ship departs from Biloxi MS after midnight and arrives at the Chandeleurs by sunrise. The Mother Ship provides all the amenities including all food, snacks, beverages except alcohol, air conditioned living areas, and plenty of fresh water. Charters aboard our Mother Ship are for groups of 12, however we do have a will-call list for late cancellations and trips short of the minimum.
We provide the nicest Mother Ships operating in the Chandeleurs. At 118' and 127' in length and including all the amenities your time on this Mother Ship will be a most comfortable experience. However plan on full days of fishing and lots of fish.
Located 40 miles offshore in the waters of Louisiana, the Chandeleur Islands offer the finest Trout and Red Fishing in the world. These islands provide 45 miles of surf and over 30,000 acres of wadeable grass flats, coves and inlets. There are also many new underwater bars and deep passes due to the active tropical season of '98 . It is not uncommon to encounter huge schools of surface feeding Red Fish, Trout, or Bluefish. Tarpon and sharks are an added Midsummer bonus. Best months for wade fishing are April, May, and October. Best for fishing from the boat are June July August and September.
