World. Catching fish here is easy because we take care of everything: accommodations, meals, licenses, rods and reels, bait, tackle, fish cleaning and our guides will
put you on the fish (and tell good stories too)! All you have to do is show up!
Just south of the U.S. and Canada line is a Walleye, Muskie, Sauger, Northern
Pike, Perch, Crappie and Rock Bass feeding frenzy. When you visit any of Sportsman's three locations; Sportsman's Rainy River, Eagle Ridge and Oak Island,
regardless of the season, temperature, barometric pressure or any other factors...the Minnesota fishing here is legendary. From one season to another the only thing
that changes is our approach, but the results are the same at Sportsman's in Minnesota, a great catch!
When you're here hauling in Walleye after Walleye,
you'll see quickly why this is the The Walleye Capital of the World. There are also plenty of Muskie, Sauger, Northern Pike, Perch and Rock Bass depending on which
location or time of year you choose to come.

Main Lodge - Rainy River
 Our lodge features 30 motel
rooms. Standard rooms have two double beds, a
full bathroom, and television with HBO, writing table, chairs, and a
freezer for your daily catch. All rooms are air conditioned and receive
daily maid service. The entire lodge, rooms & cabins are all
nonsmoking for your enjoyment.
Our two King Suites overlook the beautiful Rainy River and are a more
spacious room with a king sized bed, bathroom and freezer. The
Executive Suite has a separate entertainment room, with small bar, large
screen television and spacious meeting area - it's the perfect place to
entertain clients or get together with your group.
Our 18 cabins and 3 NEW villas offer a variety of floor plans to meet
the needs of your group. We have cozy one bedroom units to the spacious
4 bedroom model for larger groups or families.
All cabins and villas are equipped with a refrigerator, dishes, shower,
cable television and telephone. Most cabins and villas also feature a
stove. Pets are allowed in our cabins, $15 a night. Check out more

Oak Island Lodge
 The Oak Island Lodge is Surrounded by Water, Wildlife and is Located Right in
the Heart of The Walleye Capital of the World. Arrive by Boat Only!
38 miles from the Main Lodge is the secluded Oak Island Lodge. It's on the same island as
our Eagle Ridge Lodge. It's not uncommon to see bear, moose or a whitetail deer swimming when you're out fishing. If you like nature, you're going to love our Oak
Island lodge.
This undisturbed remote island is a place where nature thrives. It's filled with bald eagles, deer, bear and the fishing is undoubtedly world
class. In this part of the Lake of the Woods, there is abundant population of Walleye, Sauger, Northerns, Muskies, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, and big Slab Crappies.
Minnesota's Department of Natural Resources has determined this to be a World-Class Fishery.
Eagle
River Lodge
Arrive by Boat Only to The Eagle Ridge Lodge, a Minnesota Wilderness Retreat. Just a short trail walk or boat ride from Sportsman's
Oak Island Lodge is the beautiful and ultra private Eagle Ridge Lodge. This lakeside lodge has all the allure of the wilderness and the comforts of home and provides
the best of both worlds that is not often found on an Island in the midst of one of the world's best sport fisheries. It is a perfect fit for groups that are staying 3 or more
nights, and features a private dock.
We have two cabins to choose from our Pines Cabin and the Cedar Cabin. Our Pines Cabin is a 2 bedroom single level,
with bath, kitchen, deck, and will sleep up to 6 people.
Our Cedar Cabin is a 3 bedroom, with open floor plan & loft, 1 1/2 bath, and sleeps up to 10
people. It is located on a ridge, and provides a great view. Both cabins have telephone, satellite tv, linens, towels, kitchen cookware, and utensils.

 Fish House
Our fish houses accommodate either 4 persons,(8 holes-8 X 12) or 6(12
holes-8 X 16) and are always private to your group. The fish houses are
equipped with propane heat, lights, folding chairs or a bench and a card
table. Some new houses have an attached restroom.
Full Day Experience
Full Day of Minnesota fishing – Your day of fishing starts between 6 am –
8 am (check with the front desk for scheduling) and we pick you up
between 4:30 pm – 6 pm. Our experienced guides will check on you
periodically throughout the day to answer your questions, deliver a
lunch for those who ordered one the day before and offer Minnesota
fishing tips so you can enjoy a fun filled day of fishing.
Camping on Ice While Fishing! Dan Gibbins has more than 40 years of guiding under his belt and he takes the business of finding fish
very seriously! He and his experienced guides are all avid fisherman, so with their combined efforts, you can be assured of being in the right spot. The bunks
are comfy and the kitchen is equipped with the essentials. Our
newly built houses are 12 feet by 18 feet with vaulted ceilings for a
spacious feeling. They are equipped with bunks to sleep up to 6 people
comfortably and 2 ice holes per person for fishing. Propane heat and lights will keep you warm and give plenty of light for all of your activities. Cooking facilities include
a propane stove with oven, coffee pot, pans, flatware, dishes, and dish soap.
