Campeche Tarpon Fishing

If you have heard about Campeche city, or Tarpon Town Anglers, as the best baby tarpon fishery in Mexico, that is totally TRUE and that is exactly Us. We exclusively target this acrobatic fish. This is a prolific baby tarpon sanctuary perfect for SILVER KING addicts, where occasional Snook can be caught really meaning that you will get higher numbers of tarpon hookups than anywhere else. None of the other flats species such as Bonefish or permit come into this mangrove as bottom is soft mainly rich in seagrass and water is crystal brackish.

On the western Yucatan, facing the gulf of Mexico, lies the biosphere reservoir of LOS PETENES, which is a vast system of 85 miles of a mangrove and wetlands strip that provides the perfect brackish water for baby tarpon growth on a subtropical weather.

Campeche Tarpon fishing is productive year round and is complimented with the majestic neighborhood of Campeche City, a well preserved colonial architecture venue with roots in ancient Mayan civilization and an outstanding hospitality of the natives. UNESCO titled the place as WORLD HERITAGE SITE and welcomes anglers and companions with a huge array of off-fishing activities such as sightseeing, handicraft shops, exquisite cuisine, Mayan ruins, and much more.
