Puerto Vallarta Charter Boats
 We have the best boats, captains & equipment in PV, bar none. If you see our boats, you will agree. We have a 36 Luhrs twin diesel with a Marlin tower & 4 tuna tubes. It's a Fly bridge convertible, tournament rigged named "Manba Negra" .
We provide everything you need for a day on the water, Ice, bait, English speaking Captains / Crew, Licenses, Fuel, World Class Equipment and Tackle everything is included with our charters except food & drink. We hold the 2000 and 2001 title for Top Boat, Top Captain & Top Angler for the WORLD Billfish Series Grand Champions.
Basically, the further you go the bigger the fish. Most Charter boats charge 1 fee and keep you in very close to the shore where there are no big fish, there has been 1 marlin caught within the bay in the last 7 years. Also, our boats get out to the 36 mile mark in 1 1/2 hours approx. as oppose to most others that take 2 1/2 hours, it makes a huge difference when you are talking about an 8 hour fishing day (Even if the boat can go faster they won't).
Our Captains have a passion for fishing - you know the one - the one you can't teach. Either they have it or they don't. Our Captains have it. It is unacceptable for them not to catch the most daily.
Fishing Equipment, Bait & Lures
We use excellent quality Shimano equipment (a much better drag system than Penn for Big FISH, in our opinion.) We spend the extra money on the Fluoro Carbon leader that is completely invisible under water (35 dollars a pop) and we change it every time a billfish touches it because it rashes the line. We use good fishing line and NEW because when you don't change fishing line it gets stressed. So, when you get a big fish on you will never get it in because of that stressed line it will break.
PV mostly does live bait fishing, on most boats once it's gone you are out of luck. We don't do that. This way, no matter what the fish are looking to eat that day, we'll have several in our arsenal.
Types of Fishing Trips
 TRIP 1 - In the Bay (up to el Moro) Available fish: Tuna (up to 50 lb.), Bonita , Sailfish, Dorado, Jack Cravelle, Sierra Mackerel (Sea Trout), Rooster fish 'High Maintenance' : Check Web Site for prices and boats available. ( 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm other times available upon request)
TRIP 2 - Corbete'a (36 miles out) Available fish: HUGE Tuna (-300lb+), Black & Blue Marlin (-700lb+), Sailfish, Dorado, Bonita, Jack Cravelle, Sierra Mackerel (Sea Trout), Rainbow Runner, Pargo, & Wahoo : Check Web Site for prices and boats available. ( 7am to 5 pm)
TRIP 3 - The Bank or El Banco (49 miles out) Available fish: Huge tuna (- 400lbs +), Black & Blue Marlin ( - 1000lbs +), Wahoo, Sailfish, Rainbow Runner, Dorado, Bonita, Pargo, Jack Cravelle, Sierra Mackerel (Sea Trout) The Big Boys hang out here! : Check Web Site for prices and boats available ( 7am to 7 pm )
TRIP 04 Overnight at The Bank or El Banco (49 miles out) Same fish as above. Discovery, Mamba Negra sized boats : Check Web Site for prices and boats available, 35 hours (day 1-6:00 am, return day 2-5:00 pm). You can catch the early morning and later afternoon bits this way. Perfect option during the full moon phase and you're out for those Monster Yellowfin Tuna when the bite is happening late and very early in the day. Waking up at El Banco is something special!
