The White Lightning III is now fishing out of Chincoteague Island, Va which is located about 40 miles south of the Ocean City, Maryland inlet. Chincoteague fishing places us closest to many of the top offshore hot spots like the Lumpy Bottom, 21 Mile Hill, and the Washington and Norfolk Canyons.
 The Mid-Atlantic coast off Virginia and Maryland is world-famous for charter fishing. The Gulf Stream is easily reached by boat from several inlets to fish for Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, Sharks, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi (dolphin-fish), plus trophy fish such as White Marlin, Blue Marlin.

We provide tournament quality fishing tackle including rods, reels, lures, and all the bait required for your trip. We also provide ice and coolers to keep your refreshments and your catch fresh while on the water. All you need to supply is your food and drinks for the day.
The crew of the White Lightning are USCG licensed captains with over 30 years of offshore fishing experience. We truly enjoy the company of both novice and experienced anglers on our fishing charters. We encourage full participation of our charter guests. We want you to get the absolute most out of your ocean or inshore fishing charter. Deep Sea Bottom / Wreck Fishing - $750
Only 3-10 miles off of the Maryland and Virginia coast, we can anchor or drift for a variety of good eating bottom fish. Flounder, Sea Trout, Bluefish, and Sea Bass are just a few of the species you’ll be catching. Great for family outings with small children.
Inshore Trolling & Fall Rockfishing – $950
Fishing Up to 20 miles off the coast, we can catch King Mackerel, Bluefish, and Bonito through the summer and Striped Bass in the Fall and Winter.
Offshore and Canyon Fishing – $1200
Fish for Bluefin, Yellowfin, Bigeye, and Albacore Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Sharks, and Marlin.
Overnight Adventures - $2400
Experience a mix of offshore trolling for Tuna, Marlin, Mahi-mahi and Wahoo during the day and chunking for Tuna and Swordfish at night.
Note: Rates are for a group of up to 6 People and exclude gratuity. First mate works for tips. A 20% gratuity is customary.
A $300 deposit is required to secure your reservation.
