Top months for Lake Trout are early June, late August & September. Average size of Lake Trout range from 6 - 8 pounds, 9 - 12 pounds are common. Most recent record tipped the scales at 52 pounds.

Every month is a good month for Northern Pike. Average size of Northern Pike range from 6 - 10 pounds, 10 - 16 pounds are common. Most recent record tipped the scales at 32 pounds.

Walleye can be found every day of the season. Average size of Walleye range from 3 - 5 pounds, 6 - 7 pounds are common. Most recent record tipped the scales at 10 1/2 pounds.

Parties of 2 to 6 are flown down river to fish for the Brook Trout. Your guide accompanies you to control the boat in the fast water and to help you land the biggest Brook Trout in North America!We have boats, motors and gas stashed down river for the Brook Trout Experience of a lifetime.Trips are arranged daily at the lodge. We have a fleet of brand new fishing boats for your use. There are 20, 18 foot boats equipped with 40 HP Mercury outboards. Your comfort on the island as well as on the water is our #1 concern! New boats and motors also mean a brand new dock system that makes it easy to get in and out of your boat in a snap.

We have rebuilt the main lodge, with a new dining room, new conference center, new games room, new deck, and an incredible view of one of the best fly - in fishing lakes in Manitoba.

All the cabins now have new log siding and have been remodeled inside with pine boards and new and very large windows overlooking God's Lake.

The lodge also has a fantastic view of God's Lake and the most spectacular sunsets imaginable.
Tables can be set for groups of 2 to groups of 40.

Manitoba Sportfishing

Our dining room has won rave reviews from guests who have come from all over North America. Prime rib, Baked Stuffed Chicken, Maple Roasted Pork Tenderloin, and home-baked breads and pastries, you will never leave the table hungry or wanting for more.

Our experienced bartender can mix any drink that you desire. Hors D'oevres are served around the bar including Cocktail Shrimp, Mussels, Smoked Salmon, and vegetables.

Our tackle shop and pool room, rebuilt in 2006. We have all the tackle that works best on God's Lake from jigs, to spinners, to spoon and leaders and crankbaits. We also sell sunblock, disposable cameras, tooth brushes and other items that may have been forgotten or over looked for your trip.
