Jackson Drive In Caribou Lodge

Manitoba Canada Fishing Lodges, Cabins and Fly In OutpostsOur Lodge is nestled in the northwest corner of Quesnel Lake, just inside the Nopiming Provincial Park.

After a pleasant and scenic drive, approximately three hours from Winnipeg, you will arrive at our remote wilderness Lodge.

For those of you who prefer to fish from your own boat, please feel free to bring them. However, it may require a little extra traveling time and gravel protection.

With a chain of three lakes to explore, Quesnel. Manigotagan and Happy; you will have plenty of water to keep you busy for a weeklong fishing trip.

We are the only Lodge located on this chain of lakes. This system is unique in that it offers world class fishing, that you would only expect to find at a northern fly-in lake. However, this remote Lodge is road accessible and continues to offer exceptional fishing for trophy walleye, monster smallmouth bass, northern pike and jumbo perch.

Many happy anglers leave here year after year, having earned their Manitoba Master Angler Award.

How to find Jackson's Caribou Lodge:

From Winnipeg travel north on Highway 59 to Provincial Road 304, turn right and drive 25 miles to the junction of Highway 11 and 304 (town of Powerview/ Pine Falls). This will be your last opportunity for fuel and supplies. Continue north on highway 304 for approximately 70 miles, toward the town of Bissett, and at the Quesnel Lake road sign (approx. 2 miles before Bissett) turn right and drive to the end of the road (approx. 11 miles).

Atikaki Fly In Fishing Outposts

Jackson's Amphibian Lake Fy In Fishing Lodge

Atikaki Wilderness fly in Outpost fishing cabins,

Amphibian Lake Lodge is located 150 air miles northeast of Winnipeg and 110 air miles north of our air base in Lac du Bonnet. Amphibian Lake is a widening of the Pigeon River. With great water flow all year, this lake offers fantastic fishing throughout the season.

A special feature of this system is that it offers a wide variety of fish species including trophy walleye and northern pike, whitefish, goldeye, saugers and perch. With many miles of shoreline combined with grassy bays and structured rock points, this lake is a natural for huge northern pike. The spectacular shining falls at the east end of the lake offers our anglers a never-ending abundance of walleye. You truly have to fish this lake to believe it.

The Lodge

Canada Manitoba Fishing LodgeAmphibian Lake Lodge was constructed in 1989 and is a four star, full service American Plan Lodge. Having a capacity of sixteen, each of the four private guest rooms has four individual beds and a three piece bathroom. The beautiful common dining room and living area is where you will enjoy delicious home cooked meals and later relax and share all your fishing tales or enjoy your favorite sports event on the satellite television.

We, also, have a large outdoor gazebo where you can enjoy a mid-day shore lunch or an evening barbeque while viewing an incredible northern sunset. Do not forget to watch for the beautiful northern lights!

This Lodge is ideal for the corporate group looking for all the conveniences but in a wilderness setting. With groups of twelve or more, the facility can be yours to enjoy alone.

Preserving Our Natural Resource

In order to assure yourself and future generations the same fantastic fishing experience as today, Jackson's Lodge and Outposts has instituted our own policy for slot sizes at all of our locations. All walleye over 18 inches and all northern pike over 27.5 inches must be released. Just be sure to have your camera ready to record your memories.

All you need to make an awesome photo replica is the measurements of the length and girth of trophy as well as some photographs. Replica trophies look very life like and have a longer shelf life than the actual fish.

Remember, the fun is in the catching, not the keeping !
