Cocodrie Charters is a small private fishing lodge that was founded in 1995 by professional guides. Since then the lodge has been featured in numerous outdoor articles and TV shows. We specialize in corporate entertaining as well as family and friends. The staff has earned a great reputation for their experience and customer service.
Cocodrie Fishing Lodge
 Located in the heart of Cajun country, the lodge consists of the a dining area that seats 20, a boat-house that holds 6 bay boats and four bayou side condos on top of the boathouse. Each condo has a living area with cable TV and wireless internet, two bedrooms and two baths. The lodge also has a fish cleaning shed, a lighted fishing dock and its own fuel dock for the charter boats.
Cocodrie lies in one of Louisiana's most productive estuary systems. The marsh and bayous, inland bays and barrier islands are a haven for many popular saltwater species. The most popular is speckled trout. The summer months are prime time for large numbers of trout from 3/4 lb. to 3 lbs. The next popular species in redfish. We fish redfish almost year round in Cocodrie. In the marsh reds will range from 1 to 10 lbs. but in deeper open water they can get over 30 lbs. We also catch flounders, mackerel, sand trout and black drum.
Cocodrie Light Tackle Fishing
 
All of the guides at Cocodrie Charters fish out of 24 ft. Bluewave bay boats. All of the boats are open center console and are powered by quiet four stoke engines. The boats can fish a maximum of 4 anglers plus the guide.
All Inclusive Cocodrie Louisiana Fishing Packages
 
Cocodrie Charters offers fishing packages that include: Dinner, Lodging, Breakfast, Lunch on the boat, full day of fishing, and all fishing expenses (fuel, ice, bait, tackle, fish cleaning, etc.). Our packages are priced per person. There is a 2 per-son minimum and a 20 person max. We also offer day trip Cocodrie fishing charters for those not wanting the full package.
