Paradise Outfitters of Louisiana offers a wide range of OFFSHORE FISHING CHARTER PACKAGES based in Venice, Only 60 miles south of New Orleans.

We cater to every need of the most avid offshore fisherman and fly fisherman; Trolling the rip for billfish, wahoo, dolphin and tuna is our main dish, and we can serve it up red hot tabasco style on any one of our fast and comfortable twin diesel sportfishing yachts, open "go fast" center consoles or cat hulls.

They are operated by courteous and professional crews and carry all the necessary charter permits. We take pride in keeping them well maintained and spotless and it shows. We also take our fishing very seriously providing year round fun for all experience levels and ages.

"Tail Whipped" 32' Twin Vee Power Catamaran
"Tail Whipped" is a 36 Tin Vee cat hull with a center console rigged for stand-up tackle. Her extra large cockpit could accomodate 12 but she can only leagally carry 6 passengers..the perfect all around fishng amchine with 360 degrees of fishingand large forward platform for fly or spin casting make her the perfect chioce for bluewater fly fishing.She is powered by 2008 twin Yamaha 350hp 4 stroke engines which push the boat safely in all seas at 40 knots. The boat has XM radio and real time satelite weather to keep you dry and out of bad weather..she is perfect for day tuna trips..she averaged 8 yellowfins per day in her first week of service!

"Sea Legs" 31'
2005 Albemarle 305 Express Sportfisherman. She is 32 long with an 11 foot beam. Her twin 370hp Yanmar diesels allow her to reach a cruising speed of 25 knots. She is equipped with a full enclosure, marlin tower, fighting chair and a cabin with sleeps 4 with 3 bunks, stand up head and shower, A/C, galley and stero. Perfect for big game, trolling daytime bottom fishing and overnight swordfishing.

36'Yellowfin Center Console with twin Yamaha350HP four stroke engines gets you offshore and about quickly..Great for the slick calm days when the tuna are 50 miles offshore! Fast and stable in choppy seas too!

All of our boats carry the maximum safety equipment including a 406hz EPIRB and life raft as required by SOLAS. All our boats carry the required NMFS permits to fish for reef fish (red snapper) and highly migratory species as well as Atlantic tunas.

We use only the best fishing equipment; and our trolling spread is powered by tournament style tackle, including Alutecno 50 wide standup gear and Alutecno 80 wide with custom bent-butt rods. Bottom fish are subdued with Shimano Tekota 800 level wind reels matched with Penn Tuna Sticks. We also use Shimano Calcuttas and Penn 9500SS spinning rods for casting to dolphin and tuna on light tackle.

We want you to feel welcome and insist that you do as you please when aboard either of our sportfishing yachts as long it doesn't take away from the experience of others or violate any laws. You are welcome to bring your own equipment if you like, but we certainly have you covered if you can't. Fly fishing trips can also be arranged should you be looking to get your name in the books

Fly fishing trips are welcomed (personal guides can be arranged advance). We provide everything -- Fuel, ice, bait, equipment, lunch/drinks and even cleaning of your catch is included. Day trips last a minimum of 12 hours and overnights run for 15-24 hours.

RIG/WRECK FISHING
Drop to bottom along numerous oil platforms and wrecks for Snapper, Cobia, Grouper, Amberjacks, Triggerfish, Kings and Sharks. You will need a spare ice chest to bring home your catch. Rest your arms the night before.

BLUEWATER/OFFSHORE FISHING
Troll by the offshore drilling platforms and bluewater rips for Billfish, Dolphin, Wahoo and Tuna. Spend the day and go where few have been to do battle with the largest and tastiest fish in the Gulf of Mexico. Excitement guaranteed!

Coast Guard Regulations only allow for a maximum of six passengers per boat. Parties larger than six can be accommodated by booking more than one of our boats. All trips leave the Venice Marina at safe light unless otherwise arranged in advance. Weather cancellation at the discretion of the Captain. Inshore trips generally last eight hours with offshore and island trips lasting all day.
