Golden Pond Resort has a wide variety of accommodations starting with our two bedroom Lake Cumberland Vacation Condos. The Kentucky Vacation Rentals include two or five bedroom standard or deluxe Vacation Cabins and Vacation Homes all the way up to our four bedroom Vacation Condo units. The Golden Pond Resort properties and several private Lake Cumberland Vacation Homes in the area which we manage provide us with a wide variety of settings to match almost any lifestyle.
GOLDEN POND RESORT is located in Monticello-Wayne County, Kentucky. It lies in both the Mississippian plateau and the Eastern Kentucky coalfields. Beautiful Lake Cumberland forms much of the Northern border of Wayne County, while Tennessee forms the Southern border.
Your Lake Cumberland Getaway features our recreation areas that offer swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, covered picnic shelter with grills and a play area for little ones. For a fishing trip you won't forget try striper fishing!
The Fall Creek public access area provides boat launch and picnic facilities about 2 minutes from the resort.

All equipment is provided for fishing. All that customers need to bring for fishing is a KY fishing license, rain gear, sun glasses, sun screen, whatever you wish to eat and drink, and a cooler for your fish. The guide will usually filet and package the fish at the end of the day. Remember to dress for the weather! Although afternoon temperatures may be warm, the mornings can tend to be quite cool while navigating to the chosen fishing areas. Always bring more clothes than you think you will need!
