Salmon River Fly Fishing Lodge in Idaho River of No Return Wilderness Our lodge is on the Salmon River in central Idaho's Frank Church River-Of-No-Return Wilderness, the largest wilderness area in the continental U.S. (2.5 million acres). We are 18 miles below the end of the road, accessible only by boat. This section of the Salmon is roadless for 80 miles in the second deepest canyon in the U.S. We have one of the few jetboat permits grandfathered in when this was made a wilderness in 1964. We are native Idahoans and have hunted and fished these mountains and streams our whole lives and it would be our pleasure to introduce you to this part of our beautiful State.
We provide accommodations for professional, civic, family groups and couples. Come and enjoy the peace and beauty of the Salmon River. Salmon River Steelhead Fishing Trips Spring & Fall Steehead Fishing - Late February through March, and early October until freeze-up. Steelhead fishing trips by jet boat for any number of days and size of party. The fish run from 4 to 16 pounds. Comfortable lodge and cabins. We furnish all but personal effects. Bring your own rod and reel. Some tackle is available at the lodge. Summer Trout Fishing Trips - Meet the jetboat at the end of the road at Corn Creek for a whitewater ride to our lodge 18 miles downriver. Each day we take the boat to a different stream, tie it up, spend the day fishing, then return to the lodge for a home cooked meal and a relaxing evening. It is not uncommon for our anglers to catch and release 100 trout a day; rainbow and westslope cutthroat up to 19 inches. The opportunity for trout fishing trips is usually from mid July through early Sept. These are rugged wilderness creeks, some with no trails. Good physical condition is recommended. Tackle not provided. Salmon River Fishing GuideYour guide for trout fishing trips is Kevin Yeates:, owner of White Water West. He is a licinsed white water guide. He has 20 years experience running the river in a jet boat and fishing both fly fishing and steelhead fishing on the Salmon River. Salmon River Jet Boat Trips Exciting one or two day jet boat trips down the scenic Salmon River. Early April to mid May is a very beautiful time. Wildlife and flowers are out and all the new growth is in full swing. Trips can also be taken from July 1 through September 30. We will stop at all points of interest and explain the history of the river. We will also stop at the hot tub for a relaxing soak in constantly flowing 106 degree water.
Accommodations will be at the River of No Return Lodge, 18 miles below Corn Creek. Good home cooked meals will be served. Just bring your personal effects, all else will be furnished. Individual rooms available. 
River of No Return Lodge Our lodge and cabins provide modern, clean accommodations for 24 guests. We are small enough to be cozy for family groups as well as mini-business meetings. The lodge is located 18 miles below the end of the Salmon River road near some of the best Steelhead fishing holes on the river. Transportation to and from the lodge is by fast, safe, jetboat. Be sure and ask to see and enjoy the only natural hot tub on the river. It holds about 2000 gallons of flowing 106 degree water. Enjoy a relaxing time at the end of your day. An eight minute jet boat ride from the lodge. Salmon River Fishing Trip Prices Salmon River Fly fishing trips: 3, 4 and 5 day trips, Prices for fly fishing is $300 per day for 2 fishermen and $250 a day for 3 or more. Includes lodge accommodations, meals, jetboat and guide. A $200 deposit is required for all fly fishing trips. Deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, but we will refund it if we must cancel due to water conditions, forest fire, etc. Jetboat trips: 1 or 2 day trips, $150/person/day, total. Discount for more than 4 persons. Steelhead fishing: 2 and 3 day trips. 2-day: $400. 3-day trip: $600. General lodging: Any number of days, $85/person/day. Lodging is available for anyone floating, jet boating or hiking the river, that wishes to stay at the lodge. Includes meals and overnight accommodations and breakfast the next morning.
