Our Captains and their crew are some of the Hawaiian Islands Best Fishermen. They have devoted their lives to perfecting their skill and knowledge of fishing. It' s how they earn a living, and is the reason our charters are able to successfully land fish. It also doesn't hurt to have one of Hawaii's most abundant fishing grounds right in their backyard. The waters off of Ko Olina and continuing North to Kaena Point, known as the Waianae Coast are unique. Why Ko Olina ? The Waianae Coast is one of the Hawaiian Island's most abundant fishing grounds. Known for its relatively calm deep waters, the coast has 5 Fish Aggregation Devices or (FADS) located close to Shore which brings some very big pelagic fish near the island. Pelagic fish include marlin, Ahi (yellowfin tuna), Mahi-Mahi (dolphin fish), and Ono (wahoo). Leaving from the West Side means that you spend your day in prime fishing waters, not boat-riding to and from them. Whether you are an experienced angler, novice, or just out for some fun with family or friends our crew of professionals are there to ensure that you have a safe and memorable experience. And, when you do catch your fish of a lifetime, we can arrange to have it Mounted, Release It, or EAT IT. About the Captain Captain Tony Brown has been fishing and boating since he was three. As anglers, both Tony has a great deal of experience catching fish such as Ahi (Yellowfin Tuna), Ono (Wahoo), Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish) and Marlin. As United States Coast Guard Licensed Captains, they enjoy sharing the excitement of big game fishing with other anglers as they fulfill their dreams. Our Captain and Crew specialize in "Live Baiting" for fish and sharks.
Head Captain Tony Brown is the founder of Boom Boom Sportfishing and is committed to making sure that a safe and memorable experience is shared with all who Come Aboard! Oahu Deep Sea Fishing Charter Boat  Boom Boom is a custom built 40' with 14' beam Funai Sportfisher designed by the famed Rybovich Family in Florida. Boom Boom is in excellent condition. The forward stateroom has a vee berth with stowage below. Aft of that is an enclosed marine head and sink to port and a large hanging locker and shower stall to starboard. Up the steps is the main saloon with a settee (couch) to port and the large dinette and galley sink are to starboard. She has wood flooring and sea grass wall covering throughout. The huge cockpit is equipped with built-in coolers, a large live bait well and a heavy duty fighting chair. The roomy fly bridge features a traditional Rybovich helm control pod and pedestal mounted helm and companion seating. Boom Boom is made for fishing Hawaiian Waters in comfort with plenty of room to get out of the sun. She is available for day trips, tournaments or overnight inter-island fishing excursions.

type i and type ii adult and children life vests, cellular phone. - Additional equipment: 150 gallon fresh water in stainless tank, hot water heater.
- Fishing equipment: penn international 130 and 80 class, shimano 130 class, full compliment of light tackle and stand-up gear. Artificial lures and live bait
set-ups.
