I can put together a Savannah Ga fishing charter trip to suit your fishing needs from the ocean to the river, light or heavy tackle. I have selected a small group of the most experienced fishermen on the Georgia coast to help with my charters. No fishing license is needed, and all fishing tackle is included on all trips.
Inshore Fishing Savannah
 Inshore fishing for redfish , trout , flounder, whiting, black drum, sheepshead, Sharks and tarpon is great year-round fun in the Savannah area. I usually fish the uncrowded waters of Ossabow Sound, St. catherines Sound, and the Ogeechee River. Thes areas offer miles of pristine fishing On many different types of habitat. The Ogeechee has miles of rice field canals with Striped Bass and Redfish. On the sounds we have a very diverse fishery, from shallow marsh flats, oyster reefs , to 50 foot deep holes. Many days we will fish all day and never see another boat. We have great fishing year-round for many of our fish. Redfish can be caught all year using a variety of methods from sight fishing on the flats , to live bait under a cork , or bottom fishing on the beach front. During 2011 I caught over 1000 redfish from 2 pounds to several fish over 50 pounds. Trout fishing is usually done with a live shrimp on a cork rig. While fishing with live shrimp we also catch flounder , black drum , sharks,and a variety of other
fish, this is usually good fishing all year.
 I am fishing a large custom made 25 foot center-console boat which has plenty of room for 4 fishermen and myself. During the summer months we get invaded by thousand of migratory sharks, we can make a shark fishing trip to your liking. we can go try to catch a lot of 3 to 4 footers or go try to find Jaws. Last summer we caught a lot of sharks from 1 foot to some tiger sharks pushing 1000 pounds. Shark fishing is a great trip for everybody regardless of your fishing skill level. In June the mighty silver giant the Tarpon show up off Georgia, Our Tarpon are BIG FISH they usually average over 100 pounds,I have released several fish around 200 pounds. They usually hang around until the end of September. We will hook some Tarpon while Shark fishing but usually we are trying to catch them with a live bait or jigs. On all the trips we usually see a wide range of wildlife from alligators to wood storks , to bald eagles.
I am also offering offshore trips out to our many natural and artifical reefs. On these trips we catch Black sea bass, Kings, Spanish Mackerel, Snapper, Porgys, Sharks, Barraccudda, Cobia, and a variety of other fish. These trips are usually either 6 or 8 hour trips. The offshore bottom-fishing is usually a lot of action with a lot of bites. During the summer months we can also do combination fishing and beach trips, we hve miles of barrier islands with beautiful sandy beaches that are great places for the wife and kids. I will try to provide you with the best fishing experience possible, I am not a booking agent I take a lot of pride in what I do for a living. I have lived and fished on these water for 50 Years.
